Where to Stay in Bakuriani: Bakuriani Inn Hotel

We are just back from Bakuriani where we spent four days and had a great time with my family. So I want so make a suggestion for where to stay in Bakuriani. We stayed at Bakuriani Inn Hotel and I can say it was a really delightful experience so I wanted to share all about it with you. Bakuriani Inn is a brand new 5-star design hotel with 154 different category rooms featuring magnificent mountain views. The hotel is under the umbrella of Inn Group which has three more accommodations in Georgia; two hotels in Tbilisi and one hotel in Gudauri.

The hotel is located very close to the town center. We arrived the hotel by car, they provide free parking in their spacious car park and no reservation is required. They also have transfer service from and to the airport. The check-in was very smooth and the staff was super friendly. They informed us about the hotel facilities while completing our check-in formalities.

We stayed in the Deluxe Room which comprises of 1 king-size bed, sofa, a desk and a chair. The bedroom is separate from the sitting area and both areas have balconies and flat screen televisions. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer and all the amenities we could possibly need during our stay. Complimentary wifi was very fast and strong in all areas of the property.

There is an open buffet breakfast with a large selection of both hot and cold dishes, plenty of fresh fruit and bread options every morning. They also serve lunch and dinner in their restaurant, you can either prefer open buffet or choose what you want from their a la carte menu. We tried both the breakfast and the other meals, all of them were delicious.

Providing a wide range of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages there is a nice bar in the hotel where you can enjoy a few drinks anytime of the day.

This winter garden is one of the best things about this hotel in my opinion and it is really photogenic for instagram photos. 🙂

There is a game room with pinball, air-hockey and billiard tables, both adults and kids can have fun here. There is also a playground area for kids in the garden.

The hotel has a wellbeing spa centre and an indoor pool complete with a steam room and sauna. You can also have a good massage at an affordable price after a long day skiing.

There is a good sized and well equipped fitness center for everyone who wants to workout. I think you may need some workout because of the delicious Georgian cuisine. 🙂

What to do in Bakuriani

Bakuriani is a ski resort situated 1700 m above the sea level. There are 45 km of slopes available for beginners as well as professionals between the elevations of 1740 and 2702 m. Hotel provides a shuttle from and to the ski slopes. Other than skiing there are many entertaining options like snowmobiles, parks and horses. If you are not interested in these activities then you can join a one day tour that hotel offers around the region.

Lastly, you can take the historic Kukushka train and go to Borjomi, famous for its mineral waters. This 2.5 hour journey is a very picturesque ride through the snow covered trees. The first train ride was in January 1902 when Georgia was still part of the Russian Empire. There are two trains a day in each direction.

Overall, our stay at Bakuriani Inn Hotel was excellent. Hotel has all you need for a perfect vacation: very good facilities, delicious food and friendly staff. Bakuriani is a wonderful place for relaxation, regardless of the season. So we will definitely come back and stay at Bakuriani Inn Hotel again.
